In isiZulu, siyabonga means ‘we thank you’.
Inspired by the principle of ‘ubuntu’ and the entrepreneurial spirit of our Rainbow Nation, we are bound together by our desire to help local businesses survive through this difficult time.
Say Siyabona is our way of ‘paying it forward’; a way of thanking our fellow South Africans whose livelihoods are suffering during this time for their hard work. This is a communal effort to make a real difference in the lives of our people.
President Cyril Ramaphosa, you said “thuma mina.” Well, we are going!
This campaign shows us that even in the face of the greatest, most unexpected challenges – it is possible to be hopeful about our country and the world.
We are in this together.
Walk this journey with us. Say ‘we thank you’. #SaySiyabonga #PayItForward.
Right now, there is not much more we can say, simply because there is still too much to do.
The most important thing we can ask of everyone reading this right now is to #StaySafe, keep #SocialDistancing and help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Please follow Say Siyabonga on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for updates.
