Shipping Policy

  1. Deliveries will be handled once lockdown restrictions make allowance to do so. No deliveries shall be processed whilst lockdown restrictions prevent alcohol delivery.
  2.  Deliveries may take between 3 and 7 working days. Abnormal delays may apply in some instances.
  3.  Deliveries within Gauteng are free of charge, but deliveries outside of Gauteng may attract an additional delivery fee and such delivery fee will be required to be paid prior to delivery being made.
  4.  All customers must be over the age of 18 years and will be required to present a form of identification to take delivery. Where the customer has authorised another person to take receipt of goods, both the customer's and receipient's identification will be required to be presented.
  5.  Deliveries will not be made outside South Africa.
  6. GBM retains the rights to cancel any order and refund to the customer, in full, the same value of funds received without interest or other charges.

Refund Policy

  1. GBM retains the rights to cancel any order and refund to the customer, in full, the same value of funds received without interest or other charges.
  2. GBM shall refund to the customer their funds in full, only under the following circumstances:
    • Spoilt goods: in the instance that stock received has passed the manufacturers best by date at the time of delivery and such is communicated to GBM as per point 3 below
    • Damaged goods: stock delivered was damaged or destroyed and immediately handed back to the delivery agent at time of delivery and for further clarity, goods were not taken of handled by the customer in any manner and such is communicated to GBM as per point 4 below
  3.  A request for a refund for spoilt goods should be sent to beers@globalbeermerchant.co.za quoting your Invoice number, Name and Address. In addition a picture of the expiry date on the case must be provided. Where applicable, refunds shall be provided within 7 working days of receiving such email.
  4. A request for a refund for damaged goods should be sent to beers@globalbeermerchant.co.za quoting your Invoice number, Name and Address. In addition a picture of the damaged goods must be provided. Where applicable, refunds shall be provided within 7 working days of receiving such email.
  5.  Customers are not entitled to a refund of any amounts paid, once delivery of goods have been completed, signed for and the customer has handled such goods.

Cancellation / Return / Exchange Policy

  1. GBM retains the rights to cancel any order and refund to the customer, in full, the same value of funds received without interest or other charges.
  2.  Customers may request a full exchange of goods where any stock received has past its manufactuers best by date. Refer to Refund Policy for further requirements.
  3.  Any cancellations of delivery orders will result in full forfeiture of amounts paid.
  4.  A customer may chose to defer their date of delivery to a later time, no later than 3 years from the date of coupon. The customer will be required to notify GBM by email to beers@globalbeermerchant.co.za quoting their Invoice number, Name and Address.
