Shipping Policy

Applicable once e-commerce stores can deliver (currently level 3): Delivery times vary between 1 - 4 days depending on your area. Johannesburg and Pretoria deliveries take place between 1-2 days. Outlying areas might be more expensive and the shipping quote can change depending on the outlying area. The Maximus Man will contact you if the shipping quote is more expensive.
We offer a fast delivery through The Courier Guy or Courier It. These prices are estimated prices, if you are in an outlying area we will contact you with the exact cost we have received once the courier sends us a quote. If there is an additional amount due above what has been paid, we reserve the right to request additional payment or for us to send the package to a more central location.
DELIVERIES We shall use our best endeavors to ensure that all products purchased on THE MAXIMUS MAN website:
1. Will be delivered to major city centres within the estimated shipping time. 2. We do not process over weekends & public holidays (excluding the Black              Friday Period). All orders placed and successfully paid will be processed within 24-72 hours from the first working day after the order is placed. 3. By placing an order, you understand and agree that any person other than            yourself who receives the products at the delivery address nominated by you        to us, shall be conclusively presumed to be authorized to accept delivery on your behalf. 3.1. Should no one be in attendance at your nominated delivery address at the time of delivery, the courier will try and contact you to              deliver again the following day. If the courier cannot deliver at your nominated address and cannot get in contact with you, the package will be returned to The Maximus Man.
3.2. We reserve the right to charge an additional delivery fee should it be required to make a further delivery if no one is at your nominated delivery address to receive the products on agreed delivery day. 3.3. Our liability for failing to deliver the products on the agreed delivery day, or at all, is limited to ensuring that the products are delivered at a later agreed time at an additional charge to you if required. 3.4. You are obliged to ensure that you or an authorized person shall be in attendance at the delivery address during the agreed delivery day and that appropriate access to the delivery address will be made available to the courier. 3.5. Any person accepting delivery of the products at the delivery address nominated by you shall be requested to confirm his/her acceptance of the products, and that the products were in a satisfactory condition by signing & printing his/her name on the accompanying delivery slip, failing which the products shall not be released into his/her custody. 3.6. Should you instruct us to make delivery to any person or address other than the person or address originally nominated by you for delivery, we shall not be liable for any loss or damage, or discrepancy in the order, arising out of delivery to such alternative  person or address.

Cancellation / Return / Exchange Policy

REFUND POLICY

Returns What if I want to return or exchange my product? PLEASE NOTE: a.) You will be responsible for the courier fees when returning/exchanging the item or if you need to send it in for repairs. B.) SALE ITEMS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AND ALSO CANNOT BE EXCHANGED FOR ANY OTHER PRODUCT. c.) Please send a request for a refund/exchange to info@themaximusman.co.za. Your request will be answered within 48 hours. d.) We reserve the right to cancel a refund/return request if it is the same item(s) that have been bought previously from us. e.) If the exchange is not the fault of The Maximus Man then a delivery fee will be charged again for delivery of the new item (see shipping info below). f.) Such returns are governed by the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act of South Africa. g.) Wear and tear of the product or damage caused by the use of this product by you is not covered by our returns and exchanges policy. h.) Decisions made by The Maximus Man will be deemed final. We are happy to return/exchange your product provided that the following conditions are met: 1. The item should be returned in its original condition (no damage) and in its original packaging. Shipping of this item will be paid by the purchaser. 2. Your items should have been purchased from our online store and you are able to provide the receipt or proof of purchase. 3. The exchange/refund has been requested within 7 days of receiving the product. If any one of the above conditions are not met then we regret to inform you that we cannot assist with processing a return or exchange. Refunds (if applicable) Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. Late or missing refunds (if applicable) If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@themaximusman.co.za. Exchanges (if applicable) We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. Shipping To return your product, you should mail your product to: The Maximus Man, Unit B, 29541 Jan Wilkens Street, Hillside, Bloemfontein, Free State, 9301, South Africa (+27832322350). You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. If you are shipping an item, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
