TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR PRIVATE KRUGER SAFARIS
100% Deposit - Full payment is required upon making the reservation and prior to receiving confirmation for any 1-day bookings.
If payment and proof thereof are not received, the reservation will be canceled.
All requests for amendments to a reservation are required in writing by fax or electronic mail at least 7 days prior to the first activity date. Amendments may be approved subject to availability in the sole discretion of Private Kruger Safaris Management.
50% Deposit must be paid on all overnight tours that include accommodation and 30 days prior to arrival with us balance must be paid in full.
A 100% cancellation fee will apply in the event of a no show by guests on the activity date.
In the event of an amendment not received 7 days prior to activity booked the guest will still be responsible for the full cost for the total number of passengers originally confirmed.
Management reserves the right to cancel any transfer or activity due to unforeseen circumstances including but not limited to, lack of passengers, or weather conditions. In case of a weather cancellation, weather conditions are judged exclusively by Private Kruger Safaris Management, guests must report for the service/activity unless notified by Private Kruger Safaris Management. In the event of a cancellation by Private Kruger Safaris Management, a full refund will be given on the amount paid ( or refunded to booking agent)
Cancellations by the Private Kruger Safaris Management: A full refund payment will be made within 30 working days of the cancellation. A refund is subject to the deduction of cash deposit fees if a cash deposit has been made.
In the case of a lapsed provisional booking / confirmed booking the client will forfeit all deposits made.
0 - 7 days prior to arrival: 100% of the total cost of services reserved
8 - 30 days prior to arrival: 70% of the total cost of services reserved
31 - 41 days prior to arrival: 40% of the total cost of services reserved
All refunds (if granted) will incur a 7% in ZAR handling charge if canceled for ANY reason whatsoever. Bank fees for credit card payments/bank transfers are strictly non-refundable.
In case the client changes his / her itinerary at their own request, the company shall try to accommodate him/her but may charge up to the above-mentioned cancellation fees. This is subject to a new quotation, which will be given by the company to the client in writing via e-mail or text message. If the client requests a service to be added to the program or a program to be amended/deviated he/she does it at own risk and at extra costs.
All passengers are required to sign an indemnity form for all transfers and activities they are participating in prior to departure of the activity.
In case the guest refuses to sign the indemnity form the guest will not be able to partake in the activity and will not receive any refund.
The indemnity form must be signed by a Parent/Legal guardian for children under 18 years.
In case a guest younger than 18 years of age does not produce a signed indemnity by a parent or legal guardian before departure of the activity, the guest will not be able to partake in the activity and will not receive any refund.
Any unaccompanied child under 18 requires the indemnity to be signed by a parent/legal guardian prior to the activity.
Children are classified as a passenger therefore on certain activities the full rate will apply to them.
And no children under 6 are allowed in most cases. Please clarify the child age with us for certain activities like bush walks and night safaris no children under 12 allowed.
Management reserves the right to amend/cancel/add terms & conditions without notice.
All terms & conditions are subject to South African Law & Jurisdiction
Any reservation (s) can only be confirmed on receipt of the deposit/full payment. All confirmations are system generated.
Normally 12 to 48 hours. While all efforts are made to provide all with a speedy reply a considerable response time may be needed.
